North London XC Champs & NWL Results

The tranquillity of Mad Bess Woods was shattered on Saturday when athletes both young and old arrived from all over North London for a bit of xc action. As ever  Mad Bess woods provided a varied selection of challenges to test the athletes physical and mental ability to achieve their goals through a spectrum of beautiful autumnal hues.

There was plenty of success for the junior teams with silver and bronze across the age groups. Results of the NWL are here

The seniors found the opposition more than a match on the day to leave which a single medal, however their where many positive performances to show hope the for season ahead. Results of the NLXCC are here

The club would like to thank all the people that helped make the day go off very successfully.

Clubhouse use

The  Middlesex Air Training Corp cadets,  who help marshal the F20, will be hosting their annual XC race at the clubhouse on the morning of  Sunday 24th November. There will be over a 100 of them plus all their kit and so the changing rooms will be full and the clubhouse very busy. The car park will also have restricted spaces. Please use the clubhouse if you feel you have too but from past experience I’d suggest steering clear for one day.
