Night Orienteering Sat 2nd March 2019

A Night Orienteering event where participants/teams are given a printed OS map and punch card.
The map is marked with locations to find in the local area of Ruislip Clubhouse.
Each location has points to be scored from 10 to 50 points. There are up to 15 locations.
Each location has a unique card puncher and a reflective marker.
The winners are those that score the most points within 1 hour of starting and returning
to the clubhouse. There are penalty points of 5 per minute if late back. There is no set route so part of the fun is trying to choose the best route.

There is a staggered start per person/team. The first departure will be at 6pm.
The event is in the dark and all participants should have a working torch and dress to be seen.
A compass might be handy too. The routes participants choose may invovle dark alleyways,
fields and the woods depending how brave they are. Some main roads may need to be crossed.

There are 4 entry options.
Individual Runner: Individual Walker: Team of Runners: Team of Walkers.
Teams can have no more than 4 adults, but can have an unlimited number of U18’s.
Due to the nature of the event all U18’s must be with an adult at all times.
Entry fees are £5.00 per adult and £2.00 per U18.
All monies, excluding event costs will go to a local charity. Please pay in cash on the night.
The pre entry form is here https://fs21.formsite.com/mbatemanhillingdonaccouk/NightO/index.html
