Want to learn an important life skill?
The Management Committee has arranged for a First Aid Course on Saturday 7th November at the clubhouse and lasts one day. The course will managed to COVID compliant guidelines.
There are currently 4 spaces available to members.
Knowing how to confidently administer effective first aid following illness or injury could help to save a life, or help someone to prevent further damage or injury.
The club will be covering the cost of the course and as such would expect those qualified as a result to be available to volunteer as a First Aider at some club events.
If you are interested in attending a course please contact Lyndsey on lyndseyb16@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Somehow we managed to fit 8 races into a very weird Summer Series and by the end it couldn’t have been any closer with both competitions being won by a single point, reports Dan Spinks.
In the ladies competition a fantastic 3rd placed finish from Lesley Conway in the September 5k training race was almost enough but Melanie Spencer just managed to hold on at the top of the standings. And it really was close; had Mel been a second slower she would have dropped a point and we would have had a tie for the trophy.
In the men’s competition Shaun Lazzari finished 2nd in last night’s race but fell a point short of our winner Jose Ramon Polo Lopez.
Congratulations to Mel and Jose and thank you to everyone for taking part.
Many thanks to Dan Spinks for organising this years Summer Series in challenging times.

Following the success of the first Reality 5k in August, the race is back on Thursday 10th September.
The race will be over a one lap course on the paths & fields of Hillingdon House Farm. There will be no ski slope or stream! The course is fast for a XC, a bit bumpy in places, but overall flatter than the Ruislip course. Trail shoes or spikes can be worn. The race will start at 6.40pm, please arrive in plenty of time to collect your race number.
The course will be signed. Please study the map and follow the correct route.

With training sessions starting again from the clubhouse please be reminded that those attending should meet in the car park rather than congregate in the clubhouse.
The Management Committee are working to find a way in which members can use the clubhouse for training, use the gym and socialise. We are making progress and more details will be communicated in the coming days.
Thank you for following the required guidelines.
