New Years Eve Party at Hillingdon AC
 We will be holding a New Years Eve (optional) Fancy Dress Party at the clubhouse following the huge success of last years event. The three fancy dress themes are:
* Wild West
* War (any era)
* Childrens TV
There will be two prizes in each theme. Fancy dress is optional but go for it, it's great fun!
Start time is 7.30pm, Raffle/fancy dress prizes 9.30pm, Disco and food and closing time is next year!
The raffle prizes are amazing this year:
* First prize - 32" flat screen TV (clubhouse tv)
* Second prize - Nintendo Wii
* Third prize - iPod
* Fourth prize - TomTom
The ticket prices are £10, under 16 are free, OAP's, Students and unemployed £5. No tickets on the night, limited to 130 people. See Sean, Deborah, Alan or Jackie Butler for tickets.

Club Kit orders
If you would like to be as smart as most of our athletes on race day, at training and doing the vacuming or wish to add to your range of HAC clothing then place an order now.
Please click on the icon to the right for the order form. Pass them on the anyone you think needs smartening up!
Order deadline is 29th November 2008
I have added polo shirts and heavier weight coaches jackets to the range, but I still have issues getting a range of clothing that is more suitable for our women that doesn't come in lilac and pale green. If you know of a wholesaler who can supply women's sportswear in club colours and at a reasonable price, please contact me at mbateman@hillingdonac.co.uk

Metropolitan League, Wormwood Scrubs, 8th November 2008
 The 2nd Met League race of the season saw Hillingdon runners put in some fine performances across a range of age groups. Most notable was the remarkable performance of the Under 17 Men, 1st team in their race. Also worthy of note were strong performances by Stephen Crosbie, 3rd in the under 13 boy's race, Emma Grant, 7th in the senior women's race and Tony Grant, 2nd vet and 30th overall in the senior men's event in his first scoring race in the over 40 category.

Stevenage Half Marathon
HAC's Mick Miller won the over 70's open category in the Stevenage Half Marathon on 2/11/2008. The race incorporated the Herts Vets half marathon championships and it is to Mick's credit that he was more than 11mins ahead of the Dennis Draper who won the over 70's Herts title. The race did not go entirely Mick's way as his hip was giving him pain in the last few miles of the race and he was forced to briefly break into a walk at 12 miles before recovering to finish strongly.

ECCA Relays - Berryhill Park, Mansfield
Congratulations to all Hillingdon competitors who made the long journey north to compete against the best in the country at the National Cross Country Relays. The boys and men did Hillingdon proud last weekend by placing in the top 20 teams in the under 15, 17 and Junior Men's age groups. Results
