F20 Thank you
On Sunday 11th March Hillingdon Athletic Club once again organised the annual “Finchley 20” mile road race for the 78th time.
The F20 organising team would like to thank all the club members, friends of the club and officials for giving up their time and helping before and on event day to make the race a success once again for the competitors and the club as a whole.
Those not able to make it missed out on a great race that was won in a very impressive 1.45.17 plus the sense of acheivement that is gained from volunteering and making an event happen in a positive manner.

Records at Park Run
Current U20 800m indooor champion Matt Fayers extended his range with a fine run of 15.28 for a XC 5K on Saturday morning. He was taking part in the Black park Park run as a training run and attempt on the course record at the same time. He did beat the old course record to become the fastest U20 but this race was actually won in a new course record of 15.09. Hopefully next time he can break it and sub 15. Full results and photos here.

Finchley 20 Marshals
Finchley 20
The Club’s most prestigious race, the Finchley 20, is this Sunday March 11. This is an historic race with 700 entrants this year, which we are determined to keep promoting, but it requires an enormous effort from Club members to ensure the event is successful. We simply can’t get enough marshals to direct the runners and traffic, so if it is the only thing you volunteer for, please help us. This race funds a large portion of the clubs annual budget and it is vital to the clubs progress.
The race starts at 9.30am and we need people in place from shortly before then until lunchtime on March 11. Free refreshments will be provided. Please come to the clubhouse on Sunday at about 8.30am if possible to be allocated a marshal point or other helper role. The weather is set to be fine and this should help make a successful race for all involved.
Be a race maker!
