5k Dark Run
For the second year we will be holding the 5K Dark Run around Ruislip Lido and raising money for Michael Sobell House Charity. Last year a fantastic £243 was raised. Spaghetti Bolognese and vegeatarian food will be available after the run. Please complete the form if you want food so to help with catering planning. Here is just a little bit of race info:
Number collection and entry payment will be in the Ruislip clubouse from 5pm to 5.45pm. Please come with the correct money if possible.
The race will start at 6pm by the large green lido entrance gate near the boathouse and outdoor gym.
As the name implies, it will be dark. The lido has some lights near the road but particularly in the wooded section there is no light at all. Please make sure you are brightly dressed and have a torch. The route is all on tarmac.
Food for those that want it is from 7pm to 9pm. I’d get in early before it is Pasta it’s be best.
