Battersea Bonanza

Saturday was the first fixture for the u13/15 s in the Youth Development League reports Diane Gibbons . First venue was Battersea Park – a new venue for most of the coaches. With a coach full of youngsters and parents as well as many travelling direct we hoped for a fantastic day.
We weren’t disappointed – we had many great races by some of the junior athletes – for most this was their first introduction to any competition ! Lots of pb’s and great performances made us very proud to be their coaches and part of Hillingdon a c .
We are still awaiting the final result as unfortunately in their wisdom Ydl introduced a new computer system for results and team details about 10 days ago . Hopefully any glitches are being sorted out and the results should be with us shortly.
