Final 5km training race of the summer

There was a very good turnout for the last 5km training race of the season with a very high standard of competition at the front end. First place was taken by Rob Thomson, in good shape ahead of the Berlin marathon next week, in a time of 15:25. James Lain took second place in 15:43, closely followed by Jamal Ismail in 15:48. Nikki Penty- Alverez was first woman over the line in 20:24 followed by Katie Newman in 21:13. Full results can be found September 2023 Training Race Result
