Established in 1933 as the ‘Finchley 20’, now rebranded as Hillingdon 20. This is the world’s oldest continuously contested 20-mile road race, providing excellent preparation for a spring marathon, such as the London Marathon.
The race follows the well-marshalled roads of Ruislip, starting near the Hillingdon Athletic Club’s clubhouse at Bury Street, Ruislip HA4 7TJ.
- Cash prizes are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in both male and female categories, plus first place male and female in the V40, V50 and V60 categories (see below)

This event will feature the Hertfordshire 20-mile Championships. To be eligible, you must have been born in Hertfordshire or been a resident for nine months. To take part in the Championships, you must state your eligibility during the registration process.

FAQs
Can I run with my dog?
All our road races are licenced and governed by UK Athletics rules and therefore dogs are not allowed to participate.
When will I receive further information about the event?
The detailed race information including maps, details on parking, registration, baggage and start times will be e-mailed out to participants approximately 10 days before the event date. This sometimes ends up in junk mail so please keep an eye out for it!
Will I get a medal?
All finishers will receive a custom made, themed medal at the end of the race.

Are headphones allowed?
In ear and over ear headphones are strictly not permitted at any ATW event.
Bone conducting headphones are permitted, unless stated on the event page.
