Middlesex Cross Country Championships – Senior Men, Horsenden Hill, 06/01/2024

Hillingdon AC’s senior men finished ninth team at the Middlesex Cross Country Championships in very wet, muddy and soft underfoot conditions on a testing Horsenden Hill Course.

With lots of rain in the days leading up to the race, the state of the course posed it own challenges for the reduced field of 133 men who chose to race over 7.5 miles to contest the county championships.

Hillingdon AC’s men were impacted by illness and injury and only fielded six athletes. However, all deserve full credit for sticking to their task and finishing the race to ensure that the club featured in the
